Sri Vedanta Ramanuja Swamy succeeded Sri Parakala Swamy in the year 1425 ACE. Following the path of his predecessors, he continued to influence the Sri Vaishnava community with his profound scholarship and teachings. Many thronged to become his disciples. He followed pancha kala patha and performed mangalashasanam at many divya deshams. He was very strict in the observance of anushtanams. He graced the acharya peetam till the year 1440 ACE.

His taniyan runs as follows:

" shrayaamahE shrii parakaalamaunipadaashrayam tatpayaatta turyam |
vedaanta vidyaanilayam mahaantam vedaanta raamaanujasamyamiindram || "
